Stopped here in the middle of a long country walk and we were allowed to bring the dog in which is a real plus as long as we sat in the smoking area!  (Smokers & animals are considered equal!) 

Old world pub surroundings and not very busy so quick service.

Fabulous & very reasonably priced sandwiches.  Two of us had fresh crab, £3.95 & one had ham, £3.75.  They were enormous doorstops of very fresh brown bread and laden with filling, served with salad & french fries!  Yummy, will go again especially as their restaurant menu looked interesting.

The higher the "Yummy" factor, the better the food & service.  The higher the number of £ signs the more expensive.  ( Roughly one £ sign = £5 per head )
