Having no electricity on the Sunday of the storms we went out seeking warmth & food! We called in to the Hare & Hounds & received such a warm welcome decided to stay.
My partner was delighted to recognise Ian the Landlord as an old cricketing adversary & so they recalled many old names & games!.
The food was home cooked & plentiful. I had Lamb Knuckle on a bed of mash, my partner chose Roast Pork which was served with crackling, always a bonus! Both very good & with plenty of vegetables.
