Revisited May 2007... still waiting for SA's full review!!

They are still dancing on the tables and serving excellent food especially considering how busy it always is.  Friendly efficient staff and great atmosphere.  We enjoyed chicken curry, chilli, steak and kidney pudding, lamb shank and garlic and paprika chicken.  All excellent!

This is really SM's regular weekend hangout & so when she is able she is going to do the full report!  SM & myself went over to visit our yachtie friends one Sunday & we all went here for lunch.  It was great to meet the widely liked Landlord & Landlady, Andy & Cheryl.  They have made this inn incredibly popular.  Apparently on Sat. nights the joint is jumping & everyone dances on the tables, great fun!  This is the place to come for a welcoming atmosphere.

We chose Roast Lamb, Fish Pie, illustrated here,  The Crew Pot ( pork goulash ) & a Minted Lamb Casserole.  All very tasty.  I of course couldn't resist a very sweet concoction called Caramel Apple Betty, very yummy.  Had a couple of bottles of house white.
