After being treated to an evening of Bingo in Watford we taxied to Edwinns & what a lovely meal we all had!  There were 6 of us & the starters consisted of Crab & Trout Terrine (very good), Sorrel & Pea Soup ( very interesting flavour!), the Warm Duck Salad with Bacon, Spring Onion & Garlic Croutons was judged the overall favourite!  Main courses were Edwinns Sirloin Steak with Potato Rosti, Braised Crispy Duck with Herb Mash & Green Peppercorn Sauce.  All were served with wonderful Dauphinoise Potatoes & Fresh Vegetables.  We were all too full to order any puds but they all looked delicious.  The Pinot Noir was £16 a bottle & Pinot Grigio £14.  The bill for 6 of us including 10% service charge was £277.  Will look forward to trying their Fareham branch.
